Best way to live your car passion on Mt panorama, to experience Peter Brock King of the mountain
Not too big, just around 50 cars or so. But good for the small city. There is a track mear by too where in normal days you can go and drive your car to have a feel of how the track feels like. Though the speed has to be 40 Km/hr. The track is beautiful with a lot of curves. It gives you an idea of how risky and dangerous the tracks are.
Great collection of genuine articles and replicas. Even for a non-motoring person like myself I enjoyed the museum and the gift shop.Good balance of info, cars and bikes but not so much that a non fan will be bored
Viewing all the wonderful older cars was awesome, I was more than a little disappointed with the gift shop, a completely missed opportunity by the owners. I also think that the smell of high octane fuel and grease would help with the atmosphere in the show rooms. So many memories in each of the Bathurst cars. If you are a fan this is a must do, just like driving around the mountain.
A great place to go and learn about the history of motor car racing from Bathurst and Australia. Full of heaps of unique cars and bikes from Australia's motor racing past. Well worth the visit.
