Terrific spot to stay in the ol' hometown
Toilets are old and basic, not very clean. The woman in the office is very rude and barely acknowledges you as a person.
Not going to lie, I've stayed here several times now and it's never been a pleasant experience. Amenities are run down and not comfortable to use when camping, no proper sink area to brush teeth etc, nowhere in showers to place belongings. No BBQ facilities or playground area, but pets are allowed. One of the shower blocks feels like you are in an old shed, expected a spider to drop down on me in the shower from the exposed tin roof, it was freezing in winter. One of the caretakers was a bit rude to us (other one was very approachable and friendly), we were told to move to another space and to switch off our power during daytime even though we were paying for a powered site!

Beautiful showground caretaker was so helpful very disappointed there is no camp kitchen or bbq,s. Really can,t understand why they are not supplied.
