At my local in Vineyard a new beer popped up in the fridge and its your Piper XPA. And im impressed. It is between a Pale ale and an IPA and its yummy as
Brewery is okay, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Located in a warehouse style building a few blocks away from the main part of town, there is plenty of room to stretch out and on site parking. Two Heads offers a number of craft beers that are all very good. You wouldn't consider them in the same class as the best craft brewers, the beers are not overly unique, but the quality is fine and the experience is enjoyable enough. Each time I've visited, the food has been very poor. While the bar staff are friendly and often willing to offer a complimentary drink to make up for slow service, it doesn't make up for the dining. The meals are expensive and served cold. The chips are dry and as you can see from pics the gyozas (the same ones you buy frozen from Woolies) were served in a puddle of cold water. Others on our table remarked about how average the burgers were. You would expect a place like this to be packed on a Saturday night but it was pretty quiet when we visited. Some serious work needs doing to fix the kitchen - hopefully they can address it as otherwise it would be a fun place to visit.
Great looking venue and atmosphere. Family friendly. Beer is solid too and reasonably priced. Didn't try food but looked really good. Barman was tops, even gave the wife a free take away coffee when we mentioned we were half way through a long drive with the kids. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.
Venue is an excellent old warehouse conversion with interesting interiors which create a great ambience. The in house brewed beer is very good. The food was expensive for underwhelming taste. Ribs were small and mainly fatty. Burger wasnt as good as the menu would suggest. Over all a dissapointment. If they got the food right the place would be fantastic.
Beer worth sharing doesn't do it justice. I've been coming here for a drink since they opened and I can safely say there are few places better. If you're unsure of what beer to go for get the tasting tray, it's an experience in of itself
